Due to multiple requests, UK accent intensives will run at my Malabar home studio, with a maximum of 6 students per session.
Libby Fleming is originally from the UK, trained at Nepean and teaches the Trinity program Guild Hall London. Her screen credits include Ten Pound Poms and US independent feature Charitable Sisterhood.
Workshops cover pronunciation, vowel and consonant sounds, rhythm and natural delivery through script and monologue work, with individual feedback. Script and monologue options will be shared beforehand, and students receive a take-home accent rule book for ongoing practice.
Suitable for film, television and theatre, including students preparing for Matilda auditions.
The focus is accent development rather than showreel production, with the studio camera setup available to capture strong takes that may suit a reel.
Running these in small batches at my home studio keeps costs down, allowing me to maintain the usual workshop price while including a specialist accent coach.
